Fight wave after wave of enemy bots, determined to retire you back to the ether. Collect ever depleting weapon modifications and player power ups to keep your perfect map run going. After each section choose a new risk profile and do it all over again. How high of a score can you obtain! #shooter #scifi #action

Started to work on some enemies, no more floating red bots. Excited to share some screenshots later this week! Feels good to be back at it!

Finally working on some UI, excited to get a build out to some close friends and get their feedback!

Got some more environmental art in, also got a blaster model in the game too. Next step is cleaning up the base level textures then a few more props. Still have a few nights in October to work on environmental art!

I was able to get a ton of development done this month. Second weapon mod is in, enemy shot indicator is in, first player mod is in, refined the level layout a bit. Now time to spend doing some art for the next month.

I wanted to try something with the textures. I'm a huge fan of old school 90s shooters sort of grungy pixelated textures. So I wanted to try and capture that but still have some color and pop into it.

Finished the wave system and some early weapon fx. Almost ready with enough stuff to start passing out a early demo for some feeback!

This power up will increase the amount of fire power the player is capable of having. Since the core concept for the game is to keep the player moving around the map to collect resources each power up only grants a limited boost and decreases over time.
